Becoming a Certified Trainer 2 yr degree vs. 6 week training?

I am going to become a Certified Personal Trainer. I am trying to find out if getting a 2 year degree from a college is better than taking a 6 week course and adding on certifications? My interests are Aquatic Instructor, Functional Flexablity, Older Adult Fitness and helping individuals recovering from injury (SRPT).
At the end of the 6 week course I will take a test and become certified with ACE through W.I.T.S.
Any helpful advice appreciated. thank you in advance.

Take the six week course and work as a trainer. while you're working, get your degree in Exercise Science, so you can manage a fitness center and make more money.

a six week paper degree – (LOL)
