I deal with two diseases on a daily basis and have battled them since childhood. Myasthenia Gravis and Organic Brain Syndrome. During the day, nearly 100% of the time I feel relatively normal. After the sun begins its descent and the sky turns that beautiful redish, orangish, magenta type color, I begin feeling a change in my whole system. I become irritable, sometimes lackadaisical, and there are times I feel disoriented as if I don’t have a clue what is going on around me. I have a cousin with this Myasthenia Gravis but have been told my maternal Grandfather suffered from this same nite time “curse” I like to call it. My family told me that Grandpa called it the Evening Shade or somethng like it. Has anyone ever heard of anything like this? I have a wonderful family, very intelligent children that hate to see this happening to me but it seems to progress as I age and I am now only 42. The Doctors don’t have a clue, all they want to do is keep me medicated. Help please. Thank you

I know that some people who are my patients have something similar and they call it Sundowners. Here is a website about it. http://www.sundownerfacts.com/syndrome.htm

I am not saying that is what you have because everyone is different. I will pray for you and your family.
